DCO’s Guard Shot Dead in Quetta

QUETTA: Unknown offenders fired two rockets in thesil Awran in Quetta while in another incident of shooting, a guard of DCO was gunned down, police sources said.

According to police sources, unknown militants fired two rockets in tehsil Awaran here which hit a Frontier Corps camp while other targeted DCO house. Besides, militants also opened fire at DCO house killing his guard Haider Khan.

Police retaliated as militants managed to flee in exchange of fire, sources added. Security has been beefed up as police and FC officials have cordoned off the entire area and commenced search operation.
